About the role
A rare opportunity to join a delightful and very welcoming private family on a long-term basis. They are seeking an experienced Housekeeper Nanny who will take pride in caring for their beautiful home and their children, and who will be truly valued as part of the household.
This is a dual role combining housekeeping to the highest standard with caring for school-age children.
Housekeeping duties
- Cleaning the home to a high standard throughout
- Laundry, ironing and care of clothing and fine fabrics
- Organising the home, including wardrobes, cupboards and storage
- Procuring household products and keeping supplies well stocked
- Grocery shopping and running household errands
- Cooking healthy, family-friendly meals
- Changing and making beds, and keeping guest rooms ready
- Caring for delicate surfaces, furnishings and valuable items
Childcare duties
- Ensuring the children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- Supporting homework and encouraging good study habits
- School runs, after-school routines and activities
- General childcare and supervision
Essential requirements
- Full UK driving licence (driver essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent, checkable references from previous private household or childcare roles
- Proven experience in high-end private housekeeping
- Experience caring for school-age children
- Confident, capable cook
- Enhanced DBS check
- Paediatric first aid (or willingness to obtain)

The package
- £50-55k gross per annum
