About the role
We are recruiting an experienced private chauffeur for a full-time position based between London and Surrey, with most duties in London. You will deliver a discreet, first-class chauffeur service for a private client, driving luxury vehicles including Rolls-Royce and Range Rover models on local and long-distance journeys across the UK.
Alongside driving, you will oversee a fleet of high-end vehicles, keeping every car immaculately presented, fully maintained and roadworthy. This is a demanding role suited to a chauffeur who thrives on long days, extended journeys and schedules that change at short notice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, punctual and professional chauffeur service for the client, family and guests
- Drive Rolls-Royce, Range Rover and other luxury vehicles to an exceptional standard
- Undertake daily driving in London and Surrey plus long-distance journeys throughout the UK
- Manage the luxury fleet: cleanliness, presentation and daily readiness of every vehicle
- Keep MOTs, tax, insurance, servicing and documentation up to date
- Arrange servicing, repairs and inspections as needed
- Plan routes efficiently and monitor traffic using strong knowledge of London, Surrey and major UK routes
- Maintain strict confidentiality around the client, their family, movements and affairs
- Stay calm, courteous and adaptable through long days and last-minute changes
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Proven experience as a professional or private chauffeur
- Essential: experience driving Rolls-Royce and Range Rover vehicles
- Experience managing and maintaining a vehicle fleet
- Track record of long-distance driving and extended working hours
- Excellent knowledge of London, Surrey and UK road networks
- Outstanding timekeeping, organisation and forward planning
- Immaculate presentation and a discreet, trustworthy manner
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to road safety and legal driving-hour and rest requirements
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and professional references
