Location: Oxshott, Surrey (near Leatherhead, Cobham and Esher)
Hours: Flexible, 30-35 per week, with scope to increase to 40 or more for the right person

The family, a couple with two children, are looking for someone who will feel like an extension of their own home life. Your role is all about supporting them, giving them precious time back and enhancing their day-to-day lives.
About the role
This is a luxury housekeeping position at the very highest level. You will take pride in keeping a large, beautiful home immaculately presented, bringing the polish and attention to detail of a 5-star hotel to a private family setting. The family welcome your input, so you will be encouraged to communicate openly and bring your own expertise to how the home is run.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a large family home to an impeccable standard
- Caring for luxury fabrics, finishes and fine furnishings with the correct products and techniques
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Keeping on top of household organisation so the family can relax
- Supporting with healthy, wholesome cooking where needed
- Anticipating the family’s needs and running the home smoothly and discreetly
Room to grow
For the right person, this role offers a real opportunity to develop. There is scope to increase your hours and take on wider responsibilities, including:
- Overseeing the facilities and maintenance of the property
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers and trades
- Taking on a broader house management role
- Helping shape how the household runs day to day
This is an ideal position for an experienced housekeeper ready to step up, or someone with house management experience who loves being hands-on.
About you
- Proven experience as a housekeeper in private homes, luxury hotels or high-end residences
- A deep understanding of luxury standards and product use
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to share ideas and bring your own experience to the role
- A warm, positive and lovely personality, with natural discretion
- An appreciation for healthy cooking (a real bonus)
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
- Facilities or house management experience would be a welcome bonus
