Silks Luxury Lifestyle is recruiting an exceptional Senior Housekeeper Supervisor for a prestigious Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) private household in Central London.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fully staffed luxury residence, supporting an established household team while delivering the impeccable standards expected within one of London’s finest private homes.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Housekeeper with a strong background in UHNW private households, luxury residences or prestigious private estates. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional housekeeping, expert laundry and wardrobe management, and the confidence to supervise and motivate a professional housekeeping team.
Working closely with the House Manager, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household, maintaining five-star standards throughout the property while providing discreet, proactive support to the Principals.
Senior Housekeeper Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting an established housekeeping team.
- Delivering exceptional hands-on housekeeping throughout a luxury private residence.
- Expert laundry, ironing and specialist garment care, including couture clothing, delicate fabrics and luxury linens.
- Wardrobe organisation, seasonal wardrobe management and meticulous clothing care.
- Maintaining immaculate presentation and attention to detail throughout the home.
- Supporting the House Manager with housekeeping schedules, inventories and household organisation.
- Liaising professionally with other household staff to ensure the smooth operation of the residence.
- Upholding the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism.
Senior Housekeeper Requirements
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) or High Net Worth (HNW) private household and understand the exceptional standards expected within a fully staffed home.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a Senior Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper within a private household.
- Outstanding housekeeping and organisational skills.
- Expertise in luxury laundry, ironing, wardrobe management and garment care.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead by example.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering immaculate standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, discreet and proactive approach.
- Immaculate presentation and a positive, flexible attitude.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position working five days per week with two days off. Due to the nature of supporting a private household, candidates must offer complete flexibility, including occasional weekends or adjusted hours when required by the family. Flexibility is highly valued and will be reciprocated wherever possible.
