Role Overview

A wonderful client seeks a highly skilled Live-In Private Chef & Housekeeper to support a discreet, established family household. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys combining culinary excellence with meticulous household standards in a fully staffed environment.  The family will also consider a London based daily candidate.

The position blends creative, health-focused cooking with hands-on housekeeping support and occasional travel.

Private Chef Responsibilities

• Daily preparation of nutritious, beautifully presented meals

• School lunches prepared several days per week

• Advance-prepared lunches for adults

• Fresh dinner service each evening

• Seasonal menu planning with a focus on healthy, varied cuisine

• Creative food presentation and flavour-led cooking

• Catering for small private dinner parties and informal gatherings

• Sourcing high-quality, seasonal ingredients

• Managing online grocery orders and pantry inventory

• Maintaining an organised, immaculate kitchen

• Minimising food waste and managing stock rotation

• Table setting and post-meal clearing

This role suits a chef confident in modern, health-conscious family cooking with the ability to adapt to preferences and occasional entertaining.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• High-standard daily housekeeping

• Laundry, ironing and garment care

• Maintaining immaculate presentation throughout the property

• Working collaboratively with existing household staff

• Providing cover on colleagues’ days off

• Supporting overall household organisation

Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a beautifully run home are essential.

Additional Duties

• Occasional international travel during school holidays (typically several weeks annually)

• Flexibility for special dinners and family events

• Light dog care and occasional walks

• Responsible for home oversight and security during owner absence

• Occasional supervisory presence for older children when required

Working schedule is five days per week with flexibility depending on events.
