Silks Luxury Lifestyle is recruiting a professional live-in housekeeper in Surrey to join a welcoming private household in a peaceful rural location.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an experienced housekeeper seeking a stable role within a private household. The home is informal and comfortable, suited to someone who enjoys a quieter pace of life and takes pride in maintaining a well-run household.
The role focuses on full housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and home management, ensuring the property is organised and cared for at all times.
Private live-in accommodation is provided, including a separate bathroom and spacious living area.
The principals travel frequently, often for extended periods, so this role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently and happy in their own company. You will also be responsible for caring for the family’s dogs during these times.
Housekeeper Duties
- Full housekeeping, cleaning and laundry
- Household organisation and day-to-day home management
- Preparing simple meals (preferred)
- Driving duties including airport collections
- Dog care when the principals are away
- Watering plants and overseeing home security
- Light PA duties including booking travel and restaurants
Requirements
- Experience working as a housekeeper within a private household
- Full UK driving licence
- Independent, organised and discreet
- Comfortable spending periods alone in the property
- Cooking skills beneficial but not essential
- Seeking a long-term live-in role in Surrey
