A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Live-In Housekeeper to join a welcoming family home in Weybridge, Surrey. This is a long-term position suited to a dedicated housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a private household to exceptionally high standards.
The family are seeking a discreet, organised and proactive individual who has previous experience working within private homes and understands the importance of attention to detail, consistency and professionalism.
Separate fully equipped accommodation is provided for the successful candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping duties to a very high standard
- Daily cleaning, tidying and organisation of the home
- Care and maintenance of unused rooms to ensure the property is always guest-ready
- Laundry and ironing
- Wardrobe organisation and care of fine furnishings
- Household upkeep and stock management
- Assisting with simple family-style cooking would be a bonus
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment throughout the property
Candidate Requirements
- Previous private household housekeeping experience is essential
- Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Strong references required
Accommodation
The successful candidate will be provided with separate fully equipped accommodation, offering privacy and comfort within a lovely family setting.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 40 hours per week
