Experienced Housekeeper Required for a Private Family Home in Chelsea
Silks Luxury Lifestyle is delighted to be recruiting for a wonderful full-time live-out Housekeeper on behalf of a warm and welcoming professional family based in the heart of Chelsea, London.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced private household Housekeeper seeking a long-term position with a family who genuinely values loyalty, reliability and commitment. Working Monday to Friday, you will play an important role in ensuring their beautiful Chelsea home runs smoothly while supporting family life.
The family has two young children, including a newborn, together with two much-loved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are looking for a Housekeeper who enjoys working in a busy family home and is equally comfortable around children and dogs.
Reliability is the family’s highest priority. They are looking for someone with an excellent work ethic, exceptional attendance and a positive, can-do attitude who understands the importance of consistency within a busy household.
Your responsibilities will include all aspects of high-end housekeeping, laundry and ironing, wardrobe care, kitchen cleaning, deep cleaning, household organisation and maintaining the home to an exceptional standard. You will also be responsible for walking the family dogs and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the household. While this is not a childcare position, you should be child-friendly and happy working alongside young children.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within private households, possess excellent attention to detail and be confident managing a home independently. A discreet, proactive and professional approach is essential, together with first-class references and a genuine desire to build a long-term relationship with the family.

Location: Chelsea, London
Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Salary:£50,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, either 8.30am-4.30pm or 9.00am-5.00pm
Start Date: September 2026
