This role would suit someone who is loyal, discreet, reliable, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional standard of housekeeping within a warm and respectful household.

The successful candidate will be highly experienced in private homes, confident in managing household tasks independently, and happy to offer a degree of flexibility when required. A love of dogs is essential, and confidence with light dog care and walking would be a great advantage. The principal is looking for someone who values a long-term working relationship and who will enjoy becoming a trusted part of the home.

This is a flexible position, ideal for someone who prefers to work either mornings or afternoons, depending on availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and home care to a high standard

• Laundry, wardrobe care and household errands

• Menu planning, light cooking and sourcing ingredients

• Dog walking when required (one, possibly two dogs)

• Optional dog guardianship when the principal is away on business (not essential, but a bonus)

• Clear communication and a proactive, organised approach to the role

• Previous experience working in private households

• Warm, trustworthy and discreet with a strong work ethic

• Friendly, calm and considerate with a genuine love of dogs
