Full-Time Housekeeper / Household Manager / PA (Live-Out)
£45,000 + per annum dependent on experience and attitude

We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and highly organised Housekeeper/House Manager/PA to support a busy family of four, including three teenagers. The family home is a lovely seven-bedroom townhouse in the heart of the historical beautiful city of York, requiring meticulous care and smooth day-to-day management.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Household Management

Maintain the home to an exceptional standard, including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and general upkeep

Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and seasonal organisation

Monitor household supplies, manage shopping, and oversee pantry/stock levels

Liaise confidently with contractors, tradespeople, and external suppliers

Troubleshoot issues around the home and ensure smooth running at all times

Assist with cooking, food preparation, and/or purchasing groceries (a confident home cook is desirable)

Driving duties as needed
PA & Administrative Support

Provide efficient personal assistance to the family, ensuring full organisational support

Manage diaries, appointments, and travel where required

Handle email correspondence and basic administrative tasks

Support with household administration, filing, and digital organisation

Confident computer literacy and the ability to multitask are essential

Offer full support remotely and in person when needed

This is a live-out role

The family would welcome a candidate interested in relocation support, with an initial one-year contract and the potential to work overseas in the future

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm (40 hours a week)
