The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations, motivating and inspiring staff, and maintaining a calm, efficient and beautifully run home environment. The family have multiple properties and on occasion the candidate must overlap at different locations.
The Role
Working within a luxury private residence, you will manage the day-to-day running of the household while leading by example. This role requires someone with strong people skills, exceptional housekeeping standards, and the confidence to coordinate multiple moving parts within a busy home.
You will ensure the household team work seamlessly together, standards remain impeccable, and the principals receive first-class service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team on a daily basis
- Inspire, mentor and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the residence
- Maintain five-star housekeeping and presentation standards
- Manage staff rotas, schedules and daily priorities
- Oversee laundry, wardrobe care and household organisation
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and maintenance where required
- Ensure household stock levels are maintained
- Anticipate principals’ needs and maintain complete discretion
- Create a calm, organised and efficient household environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a House Manager, Lead Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper within UHNW homes or luxury residences
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent housekeeping knowledge and attention to detail
- Professional, polished and highly organised approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire others and build a positive team culture
- Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
- Discreet, trustworthy and service focused
