A lovely opportunity has arisen for an experienced and personable part-time Housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming family home in central Esher, Surrey.

The family of four — including a baby and a pre-school aged child — are seeking a reliable, proactive and highly organised Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully run home while offering supportive, day-to-day assistance to a busy working mum.

This is a wonderful role for someone who enjoys working within a family environment and naturally brings calm, structure and high standards to a household.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for keeping the home running smoothly and maintained to an exceptional standard, helping create an organised and relaxed environment for family life.

Responsibilities include:

• Full housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying and home organisation

• Maintaining the property to high private household standards

• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care

• Keeping family spaces clean, organised and well-presented

• Supporting mum with general household tasks to enable her to focus on work

• Occasional help engaging with the children when appropriate

• Creating a calm, efficient and well-managed home environment

Working Hours

Approximately 25+ hours per week, structured as:

• Two longer days – Monday and Friday

• Plus two additional mornings to make up weekly hours

• Some flexibility available for the right candidate

The Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone warm, professional and naturally child-friendly who enjoys being part of a busy household.

You will be:

• Experienced working in private homes as a Housekeeper

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent cleaning standards

• Proactive and able to work independently

• Friendly, positive and discreet

• Comfortable around young children and happy to engage when needed

• Reliable and organised, with a supportive and can-do attitude

Salary & Location

• £25 gross per hour

• Central Esher, Surrey location
