We are seeking a polished, discreet and highly professional individual who understands the standards of service required within an elegant private home.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the residence, delivering impeccable service and maintaining the highest levels of presentation, organisation and discretion.
The Role
This is a five-day-per-week position, with the successful candidate required to cover weekends as part of the regular schedule. Current days off will be Monday and Tuesday, although flexibility is required as this may change in the future to suit the household’s needs.
You will work closely with the principals and wider household team to provide seamless service within a refined and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver formal and informal butler service to the highest standard
- Food and beverage service, including table setting and service
- Welcome guests and ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Assist with household organisation and daily operations
- Manage wardrobe assistance, packing and unpacking when required
- Coordinate with housekeeping, chefs, chauffeurs and other household staff
- Ensure rooms and entertaining spaces are always beautifully presented
- Run errands and oversee household requests efficiently
- Maintain silverware, glassware and luxury household items
- Anticipate principals’ preferences and requirements discreetly
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Butler within a private household, five-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment
- Exceptional service standards and attention to detail
- Highly polished presentation and professional manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and happy to work weekends
- Discreet, loyal and trustworthy
- Calm under pressure with a proactive attitude
- Able to work both independently and within a wider team
